Promotional Event Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every promotion Ideneum runs at events, including competitions and giveaways. Each promotion's details are set out in its Schedule. If a Schedule conflicts with these terms, the Schedule prevails.

1. Promoter. The promoter is Ideneum Pty Ltd (ACN 696 417 704, ABN 31 696 417 704) of Suite 5.02, 8 Spring Street, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Ideneum", "we", "us").
2. Run by Ideneum only. Each promotion is run solely by Ideneum. It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by the event organiser or any other party named in the Schedule, unless the Schedule says otherwise.
3. Promotion period. Each promotion runs for the period in its Schedule. Entries received outside that period are invalid.
4. Who can enter. Entry is open to individuals aged 18 or over who attend the event named in the Schedule and meet any other eligibility requirements in it. Employees and contractors of Ideneum, their immediate families, and anyone else excluded in the Schedule cannot enter.
5. Your employer's policies. You are responsible for making sure that entering and accepting a prize complies with your employer's gifts and hospitality policy. We may award the prize to another entrant if you tell us you cannot accept it.
6. How to enter. Follow the entry method in the Schedule. Our staff can enter your details for you on request. If they do, you can ask them to show you our Collection Statement first.
7. One entry per person unless the Schedule says otherwise. Duplicate entries are disregarded.
8. No purchase or marketing consent required. You do not need to buy anything or agree to receive marketing to enter. Entering does mean we add your details to our CRM, the system we use to manage business contacts, as clause 17 explains.
9. Prizes. Prizes are set out in the Schedule or shown where the Schedule says.
10. Selecting winners. Winners are selected at random from all valid entries, at the time and place and by the method in the Schedule. You do not need to be present to win.
11. Notifying winners. We will contact winners by SMS straight after the draw, and by phone or email within 2 business days of the draw.
12. Unclaimed prizes. If a winner does not respond within a reasonable time of our first attempt to contact them, or is ineligible, we may redraw as the Schedule describes, using the same method.
13. Prize conditions. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a prize becomes unavailable, we will substitute one of equal or greater value. We deliver prizes to addresses in Australia only.
14. Tax. Winners should seek their own advice on any tax implications of receiving a prize.
15. Disqualification. We may disqualify any entry that is fraudulent, automated, made with false details, made by someone not attending the event in person or otherwise breaches these terms.
16. Liability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for any loss arising from a promotion or prize, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach of these terms.
17. Privacy. We collect your personal information to run the promotion and handle it in line with our Collection Statement and Privacy Policy at https://www.ideneum.com/privacy. We add every entrant to our CRM as a business contact, whether or not they tick the marketing box. We keep their details only as long as our Privacy Policy allows, and delete them sooner if they ask. Entering a promotion does not sign you up for marketing. We only send you marketing if you tick the marketing box when you enter.
18. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
